About the event

We're excited to be celebrating the inaugural National Community Garden Day which is part of Urban Agriculture Month running throughout November.

We're offering a free tour for community to come and be inspired by the garden and infrastructure designs, the organic methods used, and the many ways to live more sustainably.

See the communal and private plots, herb and bush food gardens, fruit trees, hot houses, composting and worm farms and visit the chickens in the Chook Hilton!

Visit the Japanese Friendship Garden and the Quarry Project that won the Premiers Award for Sustainable places and destinations last year.

We acknowledge the Peek Whurrong People of the Maar Nation as the original custodians of the land on which we meet and garden. Our garden adjoins a significant place, we continue to learn its history as we work together in a spirit of reconciliation.
